America marked the end of World War I with the first Armistice Day, 100 years ago. Since 1954, it’s known as Veterans Day, a day to salute all Americans who serve. Join Oak Harbor in that salute with the annual Veterans Day Parade downtown on Pioneer Way.

Be sure to attend the Veteran’s Day Program prior at Oak Harbor High School at 11:00 am. This free program features guest speaker Heidemarie M. Stefanyshyn-Paper, Captain, US Navy, Retired and a former NASA Astronaut. The program will also feature the Navy Band Northwest’s Brass Quintet.
